Objectives: To identify the translation mistakes in the menu in Danang city.To classify the common mistakes. To state some strategies to solve the translation errors, suggest suitable translation methods to avoid making similar mistakes in the future.
Materials and Method: 100 menus in restaurants and hotels around Son Tra district of DaNang city.
Results: the author identified and analyzed errors according to 2 main groups of errors: vocabulary errors, cultural errors, accounting for 86.55%, and 13.45% respectively.
Conclusion: There are 52 errors that were discovered during the statistical process of more than 100 menus in hotel restaurants. Most the menus got vocabulary errors with 45 errors.
