The University of Sydney Vietnam Institute (SVI) is pleased to invite applications for the 2025 SVI Seed Grants Program, supporting collaborative, multidisciplinary research addressing Vietnam’s social and environmental challenges.

Grants of up to 160 million VND are available for projects aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We welcome proposals from Vietnam-based institutions, including universities, research centers, nonprofits, and private organizations. Priority will be given to projects involving or initiating collaboration with Australian researchers, especially those connected to the University of Sydney.

Key Details:

•              Application Deadline: 30 June 2025 (17:30 GMT+7)

•              Project Start: September 2025

•              Duration: Up to 12 months

•              Focus Areas: Clinical/medical science, technology, applied science, arts and social sciences, interdisciplinary research
