The University of Danang - University of Economics (DUE, Vietnam), Institute of Global Finance at the University of New South Wales (Australia), and Aston University (UK), are organizing the 8^th International Conference on Accounting and Finance (ICOAF-2023), to be held on June 30^th, 2023 in Danang City, Vietnam.

To be created in 2015, ICOAF aims to be a unique point of convergence for researchers, world-leading experts, practitioners and policymakers in Finance, Banking & Accounting to meet, share and exchange their ideas. In close collaboration with national and international partners, ICOAF-2023 focuses on exploring the latest innovations, trends, prospects and concerns in the various fields of Accounting, Finance & Banking.  

The Organizing Committee would like to invite you to be a part of the ICOAF-2023 and submit your research papers for presentation consideration. The conference welcomes submissions in all areas of Accounting, Finance & Banking, of both theoretical and empirical natures (English only).

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Professor Bohui ZHANG, Executive Dean, Presidential Chair Professor; Director of the Center for FinTech and Social Finance, Shenzhen Finance Institute, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.

Professor ZHANG is a world-class researcher and serves in the editorial boards of a number of top-tier journals in Finance and Accounting. His research topics cover FinTech, the media, capital market, and international capital markets. His papers have been accepted for publication in the global top-tier finance, accounting, and business journals such as the Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Accounting Research, The Accounting Review, Management Science, Journal of Financial Quantitative and Analysis, Journal of International Business Studies, Review of Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Financial Markets, and Journal of International Money and Finance, etc.

Associate Professor Ambrus Kecskés, Associate Professor of Finance at York University, Canada.

He studied at the Rotman School of Management and earned a B.Com. and Ph.D. in Finance, both from the University of Toronto. His main research expertise and interests lie at the intersection of financial markets and the real economy. He is an Associate Editor at the Journal of Corporate Finance. His research has won many best paper awards at conferences around the world and is regularly cited by such media outlets as the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Forbes, the Financial Post, the Globe and Mail, and CBC News. He has published in the global top-tier finance, accounting, and business journals such as the Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, The Accounting Review, etc.

PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITY

In consultation with the Editors-in-Chief and Prof. Duc Khuong Nguyen, authors of high-quality research papers will be invited to submit their manuscripts to a regular issue of International Journal of Emerging Markets (SSCI/Q2), Journal of Economic Asymmetries (SCOPUS/Q2), UD-Journal of Science and Technology (ACI), and Journal of Economic Studies (The University of Danang - University of Economics) with fast track review. Also, all accepted papers for ICOAF-2022 will be published in the conference proceedings with an associated ISBN.

All submissions must be in Word format, and be sent electronically via the conference website by no later than April 15^th, 2023. The conference scientific program will be available by June 15^th, 2023.

BEST PAPER AWARDS

All papers will be considered for the Best Paper Award in Finance & Banking, and in Accounting.
